THEIR SAFETY YOUR SAFETY OUR SAFETY

Safety for Every Dog, Every Owner, Every Event

Waggy Good Time For Everyone

We make every event easy, safe, and full of fun.

Follow our simple four-step process to secure your spot, get prepared, enjoy a tail-wagging day, and plan your next adventure with us.

Step 1: Fetch Your Ticket & Complete the Essentials

Purchase your ticket online to secure your dog’s spot at Brisbane’s most exciting events. You’ll then receive an email to complete a signed waiver and upload your dog’s vaccination details—or simply bring them along to present on the day. Safety first, fun always! We’ll also have waivers at check-in if you need one.

Step 2: Meet & Settle In

On the day, check in with our pawfessional team, get familiar with the space, and let your dog explore and prepare for all the enriching experiences ahead.

Step 3: Enjoy the Day

Time to go off-leash, sniff the air, and make new play buddies! Owners can relax and enjoy the day or join in the fun. Our team oversees the event to ensure everyone stays safe, intervening only if needed under our Safe Paws Policy.

Step 4: Plan To Get Dog Social Again

Before you leave, book your next Dog Social event or sign up to stay in the loop for upcoming experiences. Keep the tail-wagging fun going!

WE VET OUR ATTENDEES

A DELIBERATE APPROACH TO SAFETY

All dogs attending Dog Social events must be up to date with their vaccinations.

On arrival, every dog and human is welcomed at check-in, where our team has a brief chat with you about your dog’s play style, things like whether they’re vocal, energetic, or prefer a bit more space. This helps us understand the mix of dogs in the space and set the day up well from the start.

Throughout the event, our crew are present as an extra set of trained eyes, quietly observing behaviour and reading canine body language as the day unfolds. Their role is to support the overall flow of the space and help keep interactions positive, inclusive, and comfortable for both dogs and humans. They’re there to guide the environment, not to manage individual dogs.

From time to time, a crew member may gently step in, suggest a short pause, or ask for a brief breather while the energy settles. There are often multiple factors at play in these moments, so please don’t take it personally. These small resets help keep the space safe and enjoyable for everyone.

Frequently Asked Questions

We’re a little different in the events scene, so naturally you’ll have questions for us.

Dog Social events are designed for dogs and the humans who love them to enjoy the experience together. We’re not a drop-off or daycare service, so we ask that you stay with your dog for the duration of the event and share the day side by side.

Each Dog Social ticket is valid for one (1) dog. Humans are welcome to attend with their dog at no extra charge. If you’d like to bring more than one dog, a separate ticket is required for each.

Yes. You’re welcome to attend without a dog. A small cover charge applies, and all non-dog attendees are asked to complete a waiver at check-in to help keep the space safe and comfortable for everyone.

Absolutely not! All well-socialised and vaccinated dogs over 4 months of age are welcomed

Yes. We create dedicated zones to support smaller, quieter, or more reserved dogs, giving them space to explore at their own pace and enjoy the event in a way that feels comfortable for them.

For the comfort and safety of all dogs, we require dogs aged eight months and over to be desexed. Dogs that do not meet this requirement may be declined entry on the day.

To help prevent resource guarding and keep interactions relaxed, treats and toys aren’t permitted within the activity areas. Fresh water is always available, and food and drinks can be purchased from our venue partners.

Let’s talk it through.
