Dog Social creates curated, dog-first events designed for safe social play, enrichment and connection. Each event is structured, supervised and intentionally designed to support good behaviour, calm energy and positive experiences for both dogs and humans.
Yes. All attendees must complete the required waiver and submit their dog’s vaccination records before the event. This is mandatory for entry and helps us maintain a safe, well-managed environment.
For safety and local council compliance, no one under the age of 16 is permitted in any activation area at any time, regardless of supervision.
If this rule is breached, the entire associated party will be asked to leave the event immediately without refund.
Yes. All Dog Social events are actively supervised to help maintain a safe, calm environment inside the park.
Our team aren’t babysitters. Think of them as an extra set of trained eyes, focused on reading canine body language and group dynamics so they can step in early and help prevent issues before they escalate.
Dog interactions are influenced by many factors, including energy levels, environment and group mix. For that reason, if a pack member singles out your dog or asks you to take a short break, please don’t take it personally. These pauses help the overall energy settle and support a positive experience for everyone.
We operate a structured behaviour management approach. If unsafe behaviour, escalation or aggression is identified, staff may intervene hands-on to stop escalation. This can include separation, cooling-off periods or restricting access within activation areas.
If behaviour does not improve, removal from the event may occur. Repeat or serious incidents may result in temporary exclusion from future events.
Each attendee is allocated a set number of behaviour points per event. Incidents are reviewed internally by a Dog Social safety panel, and points may be deducted based on severity and response to intervention.
If a dog reaches zero points, they may be excluded from upcoming events for a set period.
No. Outside treats and personal toys are not permitted unless medically required. These restrictions are in place to prevent guarding behaviour and reduce the risk of incidents.
In the event of an injury or incident, staff may intervene and take appropriate action, including contacting emergency veterinary services if required. Any veterinary costs remain the responsibility of the dog’s owner or handler.
No. Dogs displaying aggressive or unsafe behaviour should not attend Dog Social events. If a dog exhibits unsafe behaviour during the event, they may be removed immediately for the safety of others.
If you have questions before the event, please contact us via our website or email events@dogsocial.co. We’re always happy to help clarify anything ahead of time.
