About Us
A New Breed
Of Social Group
We're Brisbane’s first dedicated dog events platform.
Too often, dogs miss out while we go about our social lives, and many “dog events” hide behind the word dog without truly serving them. We set out to change that by creating events where dogs aren’t an afterthought, but the reason people come together.
We design calm, well-managed experiences with dogs at the centre, giving dogs space to engage naturally and their humans the chance to genuinely enjoy the time alongside them.
Must love dogs
Some outings are built for people first. These events are built for dogs.
Our events are designed to feel calm, considered, and easy to step into. Dogs can engage at their own pace, owners can relax, and there’s no pressure to participate in anything that doesn’t feel right.
Whether you’re there to be active, to observe, or simply to spend time together, Dog Social creates space for shared moments that feel natural rather than staged.

"Our mission is to build events for dogs and the humans who love them, grounded in safety, care, and shared experience. Spaces that feel natural and welcoming, where community forms easily and everyone is there for the same reason, spending time with their dogs."
Designed For Shared Experience
Not every outing with a dog needs to be loud, crowded, or unstructured. This is about creating places where dogs and their people can spend time together in a way that feels easy and considered.
These events offer something different to a dog park, a café corner, or a daycare drop-off. They’re designed to feel well-paced and pressure-free, giving dogs space to engage at their own pace while owners relax and enjoy the moment alongside them.
Some people come to take part, others to observe, and some simply to spend quiet time together. All of it is valid. The focus is on shared moments that feel natural rather than staged.

How We Do Things & What To Expect
Every event is intentionally planned, with structure and flow designed around dog behaviour rather than crowd size or spectacle. Spaces are clearly defined, capacity is managed, and the environment is set up to reduce pressure and overstimulation.
Dogs remain with their owners at all times, with on-site oversight to support safety and smooth movement throughout the event. This allows dogs to engage naturally while giving people confidence in the space they’re sharing.
The result is an atmosphere that feels relaxed and well-paced. Nothing rushed. Nothing chaotic. Just a well-run experience where both dogs and humans can settle in and enjoy the time together.
Arrive and Get Comfortable
On arrival, check in with the team and take a moment to familiarise yourself and your dog with the space. This is an opportunity to settle in, observe the environment, and let your dog adjust at their own pace before engaging.
Enjoy the Experience
Once ready, dogs are free to explore, play, or simply take it all in. Some dogs dive straight in, others prefer to watch first. Both are completely fine.
Owners are encouraged to relax, join in, or simply enjoy spending time together. The event is overseen throughout the day to support safety and smooth flow, stepping in only when needed.
Ticket and Prepare
Secure your ticket online to confirm your dog’s place at the event. After booking, you’ll receive an email with a short waiver to complete and instructions for sharing your dog’s vaccination details. These can be uploaded ahead of time or presented at check-in on the day.
Everything is designed to be quick and uncomplicated, with support available if you need it.
Look Ahead
Before heading off, you’re welcome to explore upcoming events or register to stay informed about what’s next. Many people choose to return, but there’s no expectation. Come when it feels right.
Safety When And Where It Counts
Every event is planned with dog wellbeing, owner awareness, and calm environments as the baseline. Spaces are designed to support natural behaviour, capacity is managed, and on-site oversight is present throughout the day.
Safety isn’t treated as a rulebook or an afterthought. It’s built into how each event runs, from arrival through to pack-down.

Values In Action
Safety First
We prioritise safety over convenience or capacity. Attendance standards, supervision, and intervention thresholds are designed to protect dogs, owners, and the environment at all times.
Thoughtful Structure
Every event is intentionally designed, from capacity and layout to timing and flow. Structure reduces stress and creates the conditions for positive, calm engagement.
Active Supervision
Dog Social events are monitored throughout. Our team observes interactions, guides behaviour early, and steps in before situations escalate.
Accountability
Clear expectations apply to everyone. We hold ourselves, our team, and attendees to defined standards of behaviour and responsibility during every event.
Calm, Inclusive Environments
We design experiences that support different confidence levels, including dogs that are shy, reserved, or new to structured social settings.
Shared Responsibility
Our aim is provides the framework and oversight. Owners remain responsible for their dogs’ behaviour, engagement, and wellbeing throughout the event.

We’re a new breed of social group, so it’s natural to want a little more detail.
